A yoga flow that will make your thighs get toned in no time

Summer is approaching and we are ready to finally show our legs off.. or not just yet? If you are feeling that your thighs are missing some tonus you might want to consider adding a yoga flow that I’ve discovered recently to your workout routine. By the end of it, you will feel your muscles burning and getting stronger.

  • Stand in the Chair pose (Utkatasana)

Start with the Mountain pose. Stand straight with your arms lying down the body. Inhale and raise your arms perpendicular to the floor. Keep the arms parallel. Exhale and bend your knees, take the thighs as nearly parallel to the floor as possible. The knees should project out over the feet, and the torso will lean slightly forward over the thighs until the front torso forms approximately a right angle with the tops of the thighs. Keep the pose for 20 seconds.

  • Bring yourself to the high lunge pose

Exhale and step your right foot back getting into the lunge pose. Align your left knee over the heel. Keep your right leg strong and firm and your arms raised perpendicular to the floor. Keep the pose for 20 seconds.

  • Continue with high lunge pulse

Keep the high lunge pose and pulse your thighs for 20 seconds by bending your right leg and straightening it up again.

  • Return to the Chair pose and keep it for 20 seconds
  • Take the Drinking bird pose

Raise your heels and put your arms behind your back parallel to each other. Stay in the pose for 20 seconds.

  • Return to the Chair pose and keep it for 10 seconds
  • Exhale and take the Mountain Pose.

And that’s it! You just need to do the circle two times for each leg, which would make 4 times in total. Let me know if you feel your hips getting toned.
